Volunteer:

All volunteers are welcome! Specifically, we are looking for people to help with the following:

• Help the Barre Ethnic Heritage Association cook and serve food on Friday night for the Ethnic Food Tent.
• We also need strong hands to help the bands make quick clean stage changes.
• We are looking for some experienced traffic controlers to help man a few areas near the parking.
• We will also have 2 hour shifts available at the information booths.
• Parade float coordinators: We are looking for a few good organized people to help organize floats and parade participants on Saturday.
• Adult supervision - responsible adults are needed to help with supervision of the Children's area
• Vendor organizer - we need a few organized individuals to help organize vendors on Friday and/or Saturday.

MAIN STAGE SPONSOR: $5,000

The highlight of the Heritage Festival is the entertainment on the main stage in City Hall Park.  We are going to take it one step further with a second stage further down Main Street. This year’s performers will include a variety of genres, including popular acts and ethnic music. We are working with a professional booking agent with Vermont Live Music to ensure a fresh variety of music and performances from bands all over the state and region. We have already booked by popular demand Native Tongue, Starline Rhythm Boys, Japhy Ryder, Atlantic Crossing, Tim Brick, and Kat Wright and the Indomitable Soul Band. Additional bookings are in the works, but it is only possible with your support! With nearly 20 performers, this year’s diverse concert line up is sure to please music enthusiasts of all ages.

The fireworks show is one of the most expensive elements of the Barre Heritage Festival. Last year’s budget did not allow for the purchase of fireworks, and fireworks have been requested numerous times for the 2011 festival. Make everyone’s dream come true by being a fireworks sponsor.
 
In appreciation for your sponsorship, you will receive:

• Logo placement on all print collateral, posters, programs, press releases and advertisements at every mention of “Fireworks.”
• Verbal mentions on radio PSAs, commercials, interviews.
