The 2012 festival will include a variety of entertainment including: comedy, music, street performers, fiddling contest, car show, workshops, exhibits,  and much more!

MUSIC:

We will have two stages this year and nearly 20 different bands and performers. We are working with a professional booking agent with VermontLiveMusic.com to ensure a fresh variety of music and performances from bands all over the state and region. Vermont Live MusicBARRE HERITAGE FIDDLERS CONTEST: Saturday, July 29, 2012
3:00am-7:00pm: benefiting Project Independence and NAFJA (North American Fiddlers Judges Assoc.)
Scott CampbellThe fiddlers contest will be free to attend. Project Independence and NAFJA will be collecting donations and holding a 50/50 raffle. Please bring a lawn chair for this outdoor event.

ATTENTION FIDDLERS: Hospitality Center for Fiddlers and Complimentary lunch will be hosted at Project Indpendence, 81 N. Main St, Barre VT. There will be prizes & trophies for all. To register, please contact Donna: 802-793-6575 - commorm@charter.net


CHILDRENS ACTIVITIES:
Sidewalk Chalk, Bean Bag Toss, Bubbles, Hoola Hoops, Face-painting, Ring Toss, Balloon Artist, Tattoo Station, Children's Music, Storytime, Arts & Crafts, Coloring, Bracelet Making, Bounce houses and more!

CAR SHOW: Saturday July 29, 2012
Antique car show on Main Street. Free auto registration. At 1pm cars will travel up to the Auditorium to participate in the parade. If you have an antique car that you would like to show off, please pre-register for free by contacting Mollie Brault-Binaghi: mollie@copyworldvt.com or 802-476-3615

PARADE: Saturday July 29, 2012 - 2pm
A fun filled parade through downtown with music, trucks, antique cars, animals and more. Float decoration workshops tbd.

STREET VENDORS, SIDEWALK SALES, FOOD: Friday from 4pm to 9pm; Saturday 10am to 9pm
A diverse collection of food vendors, local gift and craft vendors, as well as merchant sidewalk sales. Informational booths also available. More Info

ART:
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday: Paletteers Art Show at Aldrich Library. Visit SPA Galleries & Artist Studios
Saturday: TBD demonstrations at Studio Place Arts. Create Chalk Masterpieces in front of SPA.
   

STREET PERFOMERS:
Jugglers, unicyclists, entertainers and more

FIREWORKS: Saturday at 9:15pm
We are still looking for two-three sponsors. Your contributions can make this happen!

SURPRISES:
This will not be your typical predictable festival. Who knows what kind of surprises might flash through town....
